A while back, I had a look at Plazes, a European start-up that focused on users providing data on interesting places and sharing those with friends through Web/Mobile. I didn't really enjoy the user experience of the BETA (I think it was 0.9) so I dropped it. (I'll have another look at it tomorrow. It does look as if it's changed a bit.)
Today, I came across a similar US based venture Platial . I think this one has potential. It's easy to use and some of the entries are interesting to browse. Have a peek. Let me know what you think.
