Do one thing different

I almost forgot. Then a smart co-worked reminded me. "We have to do one thing different - make one improvement." It's such a simple concept, yet it holds so much truth. This is essential to the DNA of the very best companies. They innovate, focus on details, and sharpen their game little by little.

IAC making moves

I was waiting for this. Seems Barry Diller has decided to make a big move in tying together Ask.com, CitySearch, Evite, and Ticketmaster. This is probably a good move for Diller's IAC as it will leverage the assets of the companies into a powerful local information services competitor. Fabric Medical

It's been a busy fall. While working on some very challenging projects, we also made the decision to change the name of our medical marketing business unit to Fabric Medical. Next? New team members and a new Website in January 2007. Phew!

Pay to blog?

I'm not sure what to make of payperpost.com. The concept: get marketers to pay bloggers to post about their brands. The publicity may be useful, but the bloggers credibility can easily be called into question. Hey, aren't we trying to kill big media for that exact reason?
